Plain terms for the lens.

The tool

Color Meaning Lens lets you attach your own visual notes to colors on websites. It does not determine semantic truth, diagnose color vision, guarantee accessibility of a source page, or replace review of the underlying text and data. You are responsible for the mappings you choose.

Supporter purchase

The optional supporter license costs $12 USD as a one-time purchase and unlocks named local setup snapshots. Core accessibility behavior remains free. Sociobot / Dodo is the merchant of record. Checkout, receipts, taxes, and refunds are handled there. A refunded, expired, or revoked license may stop unlocking supporter features; the free extension remains usable.

Acceptable use and warranty

Do not use the software to interfere with sites or violate applicable law. The software is provided “as is,” without warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement, to the extent permitted by law. We are not liable for decisions made from a user-authored label.

Open-source license

The repository is available under the MIT License. These product terms apply to the hosted site and optional purchase; the MIT License continues to govern the source code.
